Ghaziabad : Ajay Katara, brother of Nitish Katara who was murdered in 1999, has accused former Rajya Sabha member D.P. Yadav – father of the prime accused – of threatening him with dire consequences, Ghaziabad police said Sunday.
The brother of Nitish Katara, allegedly killed by D.P. Yadav’s son Vikas Yadav, has accused the former parliamentarian of threatening him with dire consequences, said Ghaziabad police Sunday.
Ajay Katara, also a key witness in the Nitish Katara murder case, made the allegation against D.P. Yadav in a complaint lodged with the Sahibabad police station Saturday, said a police official.
We are investigating, the official said, adding that in his complaint, Ajay Katara has alleged that he feared a threat to his life from Yadav and his wife Madhu.
Ajay Katara had also lodged another complaint earlier saying that Yadav and two others, including his estranged wife Madhu, had tried to poison him.
Denying the allegations, Yadav said that he had never met Ajay Katara and there was no question of his threatening him.
