Ram of Dashrath, as a pious Hindu god,
May be wandering in history’s dark maze;
But Ram of my make- as my party’s icon,
Is a fact,and born in full public gaze.
I,with my estranged Uma,on Decem.6,1992,
Gave him birth with thunderous bang;
To display him, we razed the maternity home,
All heard ‘Ram Lala”Ram Lala’that we sang.
To celebrate the event,we massacred Muslims,
And nourished the newborn with their blood;
We hoped him to defend us through the ages,
And stand as a wall agaist opponents’ flood.
As an infant, my Ram was full of vigour,
He gave us power, grandeur and glory;
As adolescent, he left us in the lurch,
We now stand with an unfinished story.
Into the coastal waters,to find his bridge,
That may give me support for electoral race;
My last desperate bid has made me plunge.
But this Karunanidhi is blackening my face.
