Shimla, Sep 25 (IANS) The Himachal Pradesh government has invited the victorious Indian cricket team and the management for a weeklong free holiday in the scenic hill state.
“The state government would be happy to welcome the victorious Indian cricket team and the management to stay for a week in any of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation’s (HPTDC) hotels,” said Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh here Tuesday.
The state-run HPTDC has over 50 hotels across the state, at some of the most picturesque locations. Some of the hotels are heritage properties.
Singh has sent his congratulations to BCCI President Sharad Pawar on the team’s victory.
