Gaza : Nahal Oz crossing will romain closed, prohibiting fuel transport into Gaza Strip until further notice, Israeli Army said on Sunday.
Israel Radio quoted security sources as saying Hamas was responsible for rocket attacks from Gaza Strip targeting Israeli towns as well as infiltration attempts into Israel.
The Israeli troops closed Nahal Oz crossing after armed attacks, executed by Palestinian activists on Wednesday, killed an Israeli soldier and a Palestinian activist.
Meanwhile, the director of Gaza power station, Rafik Maliha, said the power plant would stop providing electricity completely in the next few days due the crossing closure unless Israel resumed allowing fuel into the strip.
United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said Gazan people are facing severe shortage of food, basic goods and energy resources due to the Israeli imposed siege.
