Bangalore : Biocon Ltd has posted net profit of Rs.620 million ($15.5 million) for the fourth quarter (January-March) of fiscal 2007-08, India’s biotech major said Tuesday.
It has registered 31 percent year-on-year (YOY) growth over the same period of previous fiscal at Rs.473 million under the Indian accounting practice.
In a notification to the stock exchanges, the company said total income, however, declined by 19 percent YoY to Rs.2.37 billion in the quarter under review (Q4) from Rs.2.41 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal (FY 2007).
