Urumqi (China) : Sixteen policemen were killed and as many injured after two attackers threw grenades on a police station in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur region Monday.
The attackers drove a lorry to break into the police station in Kashi at about 8:00 a.m. and threw two grenades killing 16 personnel of the border police force, official sources said.
The attackers were arrested, police said.
