Hohhot (China) : At least 13 people were killed and six injured in an explosion at a fireworks plant in north China’s Mongolia region Saturday.
The explosion happened at about 10.13 a.m. at the Xinxin Fireworks Plant in Sijiazi town, a spokesman of the regional work safety bureau said.
Regional authorities have begun an investigation into the blast, the spokesman added.
No further details were immediately available.
