Sri Lanka win toss, India bat after rains

Canberra : Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bowl against India in the rain-shortened match of the Commonwealth Bank triangular One-Day Series at the Manuka Oval here Tuesday.

Rains forced the umpires to reduce each innings to 29 overs and each bowler will be able bowl a maximum of five overs.

India retained the XI that beat Australia last week while Sri Lanka replaced Ishara Amerasinghe and Upul Tharanga with Farveez Maharoof and Chamara Kulasekara from their previous match.
