Islamabad : Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Senator Asif Ali Zardari met three US Senators and the US ambassador in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The meeting, held jointly with Senator Joseph Biden (Democrat), Senator John Kerry (Democrat) and Senator Jachuck Hagel (Republican), was also attended by the US ambassador in Islamabad and political secretary Ms Putnam of the US embassy.
Asif Ali Zardari was assisted by his party aides including central Information Secretary Sherry Rehman, Brig ® Aman and Tariq Malik.
They exchanged views on issues of mutual iterests, especially the situation after the PPP’s vcitory in the elections, the sources said.
