The Army Guidance – Guidance Department said the four warplanes had breached the Lebanese airspace over the Der Maimas area in south Lebanon Thursday.

They carried out a circle flying over Lebanese areas before leaving the airspace, it said.

Israeli planes occasionally violate the Lebanese airspace in breach of the relevant UN Security Council Resolution 1701 adopted following the Israel-Lebanon war in July 2006.
