Tendulkar, Kumble have happy SCG memories

Sydney : Australia have a tremendous record at the Sydney Cricket ground, where they have won 51 of their 95 Tests for a winning percentage of 53.68. They have lost 27 games and only 17 of their games have ended in draws.

India have played Australia eight times at the SCG, losing three times. Their only win came in 1978, when they won by an innings and two runs.

On their last tour to Australia, India made a whopping 705 for seven declared and Sachin Tendulkar got a double century and 60 not out in second innings.

Interestingly it was also at the SCG where the current Indian skipper Anil Kumble took eight for 141 and four for 138 in the same match for a match analysis of 12 for 279.
