An aide of the chief minister told IANS that former social welfare minister Mula Ram, MLA from Inderwal in Kishtwar district, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori and a new member of the Legislative Council Arvind Singh, would be administered the oath of office and secrecy at Raj Bhavan at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

While Mula Ram would be a cabinet minister, the two others would be ministers of state.

The induction would have taken place last week, but was delayed as Azad was unwell, the aide said.

With the induction of these three Congress legislators, the strength of Jammu and Kashmir council of ministers will reach 25, the upper limit prescribed in an amendment that was passed by the state legislature in December 2005.
