Gaza : At least five Palestinians were killed when Israeli tanks fired shells at a home in Al-Qarara town south of Gaza on Thursday, eyewitnesses said.
Ibrahim Fayath, a resident of the town, told KUNA an Israeli tank fired two missiles at the house of his cousin, Ahmad Fayath, in Al-Zana district and that led to the killing of at least five people.
Fayath added that the attacked home was seriously damaged and that he saw Palestinian paramedics taking two bodies out of it.
Many body parts are still under the rubble, he pointed out.
Fayath said the Israeli tanks also fired shells at the Palestinian medics that came to rescue the victims of the attack and hindered them from reaching the home.
