London : Britney Spears’ family is afraid she might commit suicide just like her grandmother did.
Spears’ family has a dark past and the singer’s life runs eerily parallel to her grandmother, the sun.co.uk reports. While speaking of Spears, her great-uncle Earnest said: “She didn’t have a hope of turning out normal.”
Doctors and friends believe Spears is struggling from mental illness and needs help quick. Spears had written a suicide note earlier. Her grandmother Emma Jean Spears had shot herself in the chest in 1966. She was never able to get over the death of her baby boy who died three days after he was born and shot herself at her son’s grave.
Spears recently had a breakdown when she was told the custodial visit of her children was over and she had to hand them over to her estranged husband Kevin Federline.
