Cairo : The Arab League has warned of the consequences of Israel’s continued aggression and siege of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and West Bank calling on the international Quartet and the United Nations to undertake immediate and serious action to stop the cycle of aggression. Secretary General Amr Moussa in a press statement urged the Quartet and the international organization to not only issue appeals, stressing the importance of allowing humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip and to avoid the collapse of the negotiations on the Palestinian-Israeli track. He condemned strongly the Israeli occupation authorities for the killing and destruction and endangering the lives of over 1.5 million Palestinians in Gaza.
