UNSC”s 5+1 agrees on “more strict yet balanced” measures against Iran

BERLIN, Jan 22 (KUNA) — The Foreign Ministers of the UN Security Council (UNSC) five permanent members plus Germany on Tuesday, agreed on taking a “more strict yet balanced” procedure regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

A draft resolution, to be submitted to the UNSC, was discussed and agreed upon during the meeting in the German capital earlier today, a source who asked for anonymity said.
According to reports, the purpose of “relatively” toughening the level of sanctions against Iran was to force the Islamic republic to stop its uranium enrichment plans.
