New Delhi, Jan 25 (IANS) Uttar Pradesh mafia don Brijesh Singh, who is wanted by the police force for several murders and was Wednesday arrested from Bhubaneswar, was sent by a court to police custody till Feb 4.
Additional Chief Judicial Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjeev Jain Friday sent Singh to police custody after he was presented to the court.
Singh, allegedly involved in over 100 killings, was arrested in Bhubaneswar after he successfully eluded the police for 20 years.
The police said he was living in the Orissa capital for the past few years and had obtained a fake passport in the name of Arun Kumar.
The don shared a close relationship with underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim.
He was brought to the capital Thursday night on a transit remand.
