Most of the participants were of the opinion that Hindu communal parties had engineered Indore riot in order to polarize Hindu vote for the coming elections, and that the return of the land transferred to the Board was only a ploy for which Muslims were made a scapegoat.

The participants stressed that creating venomous atmosphere across the country on a local tangle in Kashmir only reinforces the fact that there have been organized attempts in the states ruled by the communal forces, especially Madhya Pradesh, to turn it into another ‘laboratory of Hindutva’ on the pattern of Gujarat.

Expressing their grave concern in the meeting over present communal situation of the country, the participants also opined that indolence shown by local administration and partisan role of police are also proving an aid in realization of communalists’ anti-national designs.

Organization’s General Secretary Maulana Ameeduzzaman Kairanvi informed the participants about the steps taken by the Mushawarat in this regard, including the letters written to union home minister and Madhya Pradesh chief minister.
