Pakistani PM welcomes interest of Malaysian media, housing firms to invest in Pakistan

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia : Chairman of Malaysian-based Media Prima Television Abdul Mutlib Razzaq called on Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and expressed his interest in making joint ventures with Pakistani entertainment media.

The Media Prima chief told Prime Minister Gilani that he was keen in showing Pakistani films and dramas on Malaysian channels.

The Prime Minister welcomed Razzaq’s interest to invest in the area of direct-to-home television service, and informed him about the opportunities for media in Pakistan.

Earlier, the Managing Director of Malaysian construction company, property and real estate MRCB Shahril Ridza Ridzuan met Prime Minister Gilani and showed his interest to invest in Pakistan’s housing sector.

The Prime Minister encouraged Ridzuan to visit and meet with the officials of ministry of housing and concerned departments to explore opportunities.
