Addressing a congregation Tuesday in Diver, Parihaspora near here, on the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (AS), Maulana Abbas said that Islam was not only strictly against all types of terrorism, but also demanded support to the oppressed and subjugated people of the world.

“Anti-Islam forces have ganged up against Muslim states, and if their rulers do not formulate an effective strategy to combat the growing Zionist aggression, Islamic borders and the collective interests of Muslims will be in serious danger,” he said.

He said that the martyrdom of Imam Kazim taught to stand firm against oppression, and if the subjugated people of the world wanted to attain their rights, they would have to take these illustrious figures as their guide.

“The movement for the restoration of our usurped rights demands that we create unity among our ranks and rise above egos and partisan supremacy to attain the goal for which such immense sacrifices have been made,” he said.

“No opportunistic politician will be allowed to exploit the sacrifices of Kashmiris by donning the religious garb,” he said.
