16 young Indian footballers to train at Arsenal camp

New Delhi : After two weeks of training, 16 schoolboys were selected Wednesday for once in a lifetime opportunity to train at the Arsenal training camp in England.

As a part of the Tata Tea Arsenal Soccer Stars programme, the schoolboys selected from all parts of the country were trained for two weeks under Arsenal coaches Paul Shipwright and Martin Davis at the Calcutta Cricket and Football Club (CC&FC) in Kolkata.

The training camp provided these boys with an unparalleled training programme, including the customized Arsenal development programme called ‘The Arsenal Way’. They will also get a chance to play in the Arsenal International Soccer Festival in London next month.
