New Delhi : A pro-LTTE lawmaker and his driver were killed in a roadside bomb attack in the rebel-dominated Wanni area in Sri Lanka’s embattled North, officials said in Colombo on Wednesday.
K Sivanesan, who represented the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) from Jaffna district, was on his way to Kilinochchi, a rebel stronghold, when the roadside bomb tore through his vehicle, PTI reported here quoting officials.
Both Sivanesan and his driver were killed in the incident.
