The AIP, in a statement during its regular session Saturday, praised the Sudanese government for suspending political and economic ties with Denmark, as well as the Yemeni parliament which severed parliamentary ties with Denmark.

The AIP, chaired by its President Mohammad Al-Saqer of Kuwait, condemned some Western media, particularly the Danish ones, for deliberately insulting Prophet Mohammad PBUH and considered it a provocative act that might pave the way for conflict of civilizations.

It urged Arab parliaments to sever ties with the Danish parliament until those insulting Islam and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) apologized.
