Kabul : At least 14 Afghan villagers were killed and 59 others injured when the truck they were riding in plunged off a road in north-eastern Afghanistan, officials said Wednesday.
The villagers were traveling from Urgo district to Arghanjkhewa District of Badakhshan province Wednesday morning when the truck swerved into a ravine, area police chief Agha Noor Keentoz was quoted as saying by DPA.
