Islamabad : At least three persons were killed and three others injured in a missile attack conducted by suspected United States drone in Pakistan’s tribal region on Saturday, private TV channel Geo reported.
A suspected U.S. drone fired a missile at a house in North Waziristan tribal region, leaving three persons killed and three others injured, said the report.
Local tribal people gathered at the site of the attack and started rescue work after the incident.
Pakistan’s tribal areas bordering Afghanistan have seen a rising frequency of missile attacks launched by U.S. drones. Pakistani government has repeatedly protested against the attacks and called for a halt to them.
