Bhopal: Ms Zeenat Noor of Bhopal will rub shoulders with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh when she would witness the Republic Day Parade from the Prime Minister’s Box at Rajpath in New Delhi on January 26 this year.
Ms Zeenat, daughter of Zahid Noor, an ex-employee of Indian Airlines, has been selected for this honour by the Union HRD Ministry, Department of Higher Education for her overall excellence in the education field. She would be among the participants of university / school toppers to watch the Republic Day Parade with the Prime Minister.
She is an accomplished teacher and taught English in T.I.M.E , Career Launcher and other institutes together with in Arushi , an NGO working for the visually impaired.
Ms Zeenat has an excellent academic record and is at present pursuing her Ph. D. degree from English and Foreign Language University, (EFLU), in Hyderabad. She did her post-graduation in English Literature from Barkatullah University.
As her father Zahid Noor and mother Razia, who were accomplished sportspersons in the discipline of hockey and table-tennis in their heydays, Zeenat has also keen interests in sports. She played good hockey and participated in all India and other national level tournaments. ([email protected])
