Indian PM’s secretary to visit Sri Lanka

Colombo : The principal secretary to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is due to arrive in Colombo Wednesday to exchange views on “developments in the field of public administration in the two countries”, authorities said here.

T.K.A. Nair is arriving in Colombo on the invitation of Lalith Weeratunga, the secretary to President Mahinda Rajapaksa, the president’s office here said Tuesday.

“Mr. Nair is due to address senior government officials in Sri Lanka on Thursday. The topic will be ‘Governance in India – Overview and Challenges’,” it said.
