Chandigarh : As many as 85 students of a government-run primary school in Karnal district of Haryana were Friday discharged from a hospital, the state’s health minister said.
The students had fallen ill Thursday after they ate the seeds of a Jathropa tree in their school campus in Chundipur village in Karnal, 110 km from here.
They were rushed to the civil hospital in Karnal for treatment.
Haryana Health Minister Geeta Bhukkal, who visited the hospital, said all of them were discharged Friday.
While 37 of them were allowed to go home late Thursday evening, 48 others were discharged Friday.
