Rupala, 55, was rushed to the SAL Hospital in Ahmedabad from the state capital here after he complained of chest pain around 4.30 a.m.

Attending doctors found a blockage and an angioplasty procedure was performed on Rupala. He is recuperating and has been advised complete bed rest. He will be kept in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital for the next two days, the official said.
