New Delhi : The body of an unidentified man, aged about 23 years, was found hanging at a basketball court in Chanakyapuri here Friday, police said.
“We received a call around 7 in the morning that a body has been found hanging at a basketball court near the Bangladesh embassy,” a senior police officer said.
Police suspect it to be a case of suicide.
“There were no external injury marks on the body. The identity of the victim is not established as yet as no document or identity proof was found from his possession. He is estimated to be about 23 years old,” the police officer added.
“Initial investigations does not suggest any chance of foul play. But we are waiting for medical reports. We have shared details of the case with other police stations to find out if anyone knew about him. Further investigations are on,” the police officer said.
