Jammu : A senior commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was killed in a gun battle with security forces in the mountainous district of Doda in Jammu and Kashmir Saturday, authorities said.
Noor Mohammad aka Chhota Hamza was killed in the gun battle in Dessa forests in Doda, 180 km north-east of Jammu. An AK-47 and several rounds of ammunition were recovered.
He was involved in a series of terror-related activities in the area, a police officer said.
Another militant was reported to have escaped.
