Jamia Millia’s Mass Comm. course pulls thousands applicants

New Delhi: The Anwar Jamal Kidwai-Mass Communication Research Centre (AJK-MCRC) of Jamia Millia Islamia has received a record 2,787 Application Forms against 170 seats for admission to its 6 different courses for the academic session starting 2010-11.

The M.A. in Mass Communication has received 1,722 applications against an intake of 50 students while 527 applications have been received in M.A. Convergent Journalism course which has only 20 seats.

Besides, the response to four other diploma courses offered by the centre has also been tremendous. Following is the schedule of Entrance Tests to be conducted by the AJK-MCRC:

The venue of the Entrance Test shall be the New Teaching Block & New Science Block, Main University Campus, Jamia Millia Islamia.
