Gandhinagar : The Gujarat High Court has given its approval to the amalgamation of seven group companies with the Adani Enterprises Limited.
The corporate affairs ministry had raised objections to the amalgamation and filed a petition in the Gujarat High Court against it, citing violation of certain provisions of the Companies Act, 1956.
In an order made available Friday, Justice K.A. Puj rejected the ministry’s contentions and allowed the merger of the seven companies with Adani Enterprises.
Thus, Adani Infrastructure Services Private Limited, Advance Tradex Private Limited, Adani Tradelink Private Limited, Pride Trade and Investment Private Limited, Trident Trade and Investment Private Limited, Radiant Trade and Investment Private Limited and Ventura Trade and Investment Private Limited will now be amalgamated with Adani Enterprises.
