Kolkata : World energy dialogue, focus on technologies and innovative ideas for conservative and renewable energy will be the chief features of the Hannover Messe – one of the globe’s largest trade fairs – scheduled to be held April 19-23 at Germany’s Hannover Fair Grounds.
The fair is rated as an international gateway to world markets for industrial producers. It will involve the World Energy Dialogue – a summit attended by senior decision makers from business, science and government – and will focus on improving energy efficiency, senior vice president Wolfgang Pech of Deutche Messe, the organisers of the event, said here Tuesday.
Nine flagship trade fairs — industrial automation, energy, power plant technology, mobilitec, digital factory, industrial supply, coil technica, micronano tec, research & technology — will be part of the 2010 Hannover Messe.
“Nine flagship international trade fairs that form the line-up of Hannover Messe reflect the global technology trends in industrial production and development,” Pech said.
The partner country for this edition of the fair will be Italy.
India was the partner country in the 2006 Hannover Messe Industrial fair. One hundred and thirty seven Indian companies participated in the fair in 2009.
