Patna: While endorsing noose for Afzal Guru, convict in Parliament attack case, Muslim United Front president Abu Qaiser has slammed BJP chief Nitin Gadkari for singling out Afzal for hanging and conveniently ignoring the case of Hindutva terrorists like Sadhvi and Purohit.

Condemning the double standard of BJP, Qaisar asked BJP chief as to “why Mr. Gadkari and other BJP leaders do not demand hanging for those Hindu extremists who are convict in the bomb blasts at religious and public places that took many innocent lives.”
“If Azal Guru is guilty in Parliament attack, he should be hanged but simultaneously Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Purohit and others who were involved into Malegon blast, Mecca Masjid blast, Ajmer and other blasts should also be treated in the same manner”, he demanded.
He urged to follow the principle of democracy and put criminals in the same dock irrespective of their religions.
“Many Muslim youth were put behind the bar after the blasts occurred at various places without any proofs and now when it has been proved by intelligence and investigative agencies that Hindu extremists were behind all major blasts and some of them were declared guilty by courts then why they were not punished till now” he asked.
He blamed all major parties especially Congress and BJP for working on anti-Muslim agenda designed by RSS and appealed to Muslims to be careful about these parties.
