Erdogan: Iran has the right to use Peaceful nuclear energy

Ankara : Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, by underlining Iran’s right to use peaceful nuclear energy, criticized west silence on the Zionist regime nuclear arsenal.

In a joint press conference after meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron here on Tuesday, Erdogan also underlined Turkey’s commitment to Tehran Declaration.

He continued that upon Turkey’s policy on necessity of solving Iran’s nuclear issue through diplomatic ways and upon Tehran Declaration, Turkey cast a negative vote to the UN Security Council resolution for imposing new sanctions against Iran.

Criticizing the Zionist regime action in blockading Gaza Strip, Erdogan said that residents of Gaza under constant Israelis pressure and attacks are living in a prison.

Turkish prime minister called Israelis’ attack to the freedom flotilla in international waters, which were carrying humanitarian aid for resident of Gaza, a piracy and added it is surprising that people of the world are reacting to the piracies in Somalia, but are silent about Israelis actions.

Erdogan underlined again that Israel must apologize for its action and compensate the loss and end its blockade against Gaza.

He also declared his country’s opposition to existence of nuclear arsenal in the region.

British prime minister arrived in Ankara on Monday and in his meeting with Turkish counterpart on Tuesday discussed bilateral ties, world and regional developments, Iran’s nuclear program and Turkey’s membership process in European Union as well as Cypress development.
