New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia has signed an MoU with Microsoft Corporation under Microsoft University Education Alliance Programme. Microsoft will conduct short-term computer training programs for the faculty members and administrative staff of Jamia.
Under the terms and conditions of this MoU, Microsoft will conduct short-term computer training programs for the faculty members and administrative staff of Jamia in a phased manner. The first batch of the program is likely to start from 7th June 2010.
“The purpose of the training program is to familiarize the faculty members and staff with the packages used in offices. The program will cover PowerPoint, Hands on with Paint, Windows XP, Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, E-Mail, etc. to be followed by a Project Work,” said Media Coordinator, Jamia.
Certificate of participation will be given to all the participants after successful completion of the course.
