Shimla : Himachal Pradesh will exempt multiplexes from paying entertainment duty to attract such investors, an official said here Saturday.
“The cabinet Friday gave its nod to exempt multiplexes coming into commercial operations between May 26, 2007 and May 25, 2012 from payment of entertainment duty,” a government spokesperson said.
He said the exemptions have been given as per the provisions of the state industrial policy of 2004.
