Patna: Khairuddin Ansari and Amir Javed are among seven DSPs who got promotion due to their valuable services for Bihar police department. The decision was taken yesterday by the Bihar cabinet under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar amidst growing political rift between ruling alliance partners JD-U and BJP.
Cabinet secretary Mr. Afzal Amanullah informed media persons that the cabinet approved promotion for Khairuddin Ansari, Amir Javed, Prantosh Kumar Das, Manoj Kumar Pathak, Sangay Kumar Singh, Ajay Kumar Pande and Neeraj Kumar Singh from the post of DSPs to Senior DSPs. Besides, cabinet also approved Rs. 72 crore for construction of examination halls in every district of the state.
As war of words between JD-U and BJP is on, it was expected that all BJP ministers in Nitish government would boycott the cabinet meeting but four of them attended the meeting.
