Visitors walking past posters

Dr. Javed Akhtar, President AWMELA, inaugurated this Islamic Exhibition in Shibli National Girls School, Azamgarh after Friday prayers on 21st May. Visitors of all ages took great interest in this unique exhibition and were greatly benefited by the models and its explanation provided by IERO staff.

Unity in diversity

Today’s kids will learn things if their curiosity is aroused. The traditional methods of imparting education through rote learning are outdated and make the child repugnant towards education. Therefore, such exhibitions are the need of the hour and Womens’ Forum deserves our praise for taking the initiative.

Visitors of all ages

In addition to models displayed, Quranic message was being spread through posters. Concept of justice in Islam, equality, status of women, condemnation of female infanticide, etc were adequately expressed through well made posters.

Differentiating Zakat and Riba

Zeya Us Salam, President IERO is also the Chairman of ‘Taqwa Islamic School’, Allahabad. The School where admission for Nursery, Jr. KG, Sr. KG and Class I is open intends to impart modern education in an Islamic atmosphere. Arabic, Urdu and Hindi are compulsory languages while the medium of instruction is English. The School has been started with meager resources and seeks cooperation from one and all.
