Mumbai: Ajmal Perfumes, a household name in the Middle East and which also claims to be the leader in Indian perfumery, recently has set one more milestone in innovative products promotion.

The perfume company launched a mobile van in geeing colors and style for Mumbaikers to avail free know how about perfumery and enjoy sweet smelling all around.

Mr Chhagan Bhujbal, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, has cut open the ribbon before media gags at Colaba, the shopper’s paradise of Mumbai, where Ajmals have their Indian head quarter.

The Ajmals have already made an aggressive entry in to Indian market in last three years with opening up new showrooms in major metros of the country.

They are also planning to make their presence in most of the state capitals and semi metro cities by the end of 2012.

Ajmals’ root can be traced to the verdant foothills of the mountains of Assam – in the village of Hojai – where the group’s founder father – Haji Ajmal Ali Abdul Majid had a dream to create an organization that would be a credit to the art of quality perfumery.

Today, after 50 years, the dream of the group’s founder father has taken a solid and beautiful shape in the form of Ajmal Group of Companies. His tradition and illustrious vision has been passed on to his sons and grandchildren and now, Ajmal is one of the most well known names in perfumery and allied products – both in India and abroad.

Ajmal’s mobile VAN promotion

While inaugurating the Ajmal’s first ever perfumery mobile van Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal said, ‘Ajmals have business presence over 32 countries of the world. We should be proud of the fact that one of our Indian companies is globally competing other perfume brands specially those from the West’.

Mr. Bhujbal also declared that according to him ‘Ajmal is the best perfume brand’ and asked others to try it.

Mr. Sirajuddin Ajmal, India head and one of directors for the Ajmal group, termed the mobile-van launching a ‘very innovative’ event.

“Countless books have been written on the beneficial effects of perfumes on the body and mind but unfortunately there have not been so much of physical efforts made in this market to educate the customers that would help them to buy a product,” said Mr. Ajmal in his short speech

“We have taken this imitative for the first time,” added Mr. Ajmal.

Through this promotional mobile-van Ajmal would take it’s customers through a unique and rich experience of perfume by educating and enlightening them with the usage and a variety of perfumes to wear according to the seasonality, occasion and moods.
