New Delhi : It was a humid and sunny day in Delhi and the sky remained clear Wednesday. The weatherman has predicted clear skies in the days to come.
The maximum temperature was 34.2 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season while the minimum settled at 23 degrees, three notches above the average.
The humidity level wavered between a high of 90 percent and a low of 49 percent.
Clear sky is predicted for Thursday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 34 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees, respectively, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The capital witnessed one of its wettest monsoons this year, resulting in heavy waterlogging and flood threats. The rainfall received so far crossed 1,031.5 mm — around 56 percent above the seasonal average.
