Patna : Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Thursday said he would wait for the text of the Ayodhya judgment before commenting on it and asked people to maintain communal harmony.
“Let the text of the judgment come, there is still confusion on what the verdict is. The judgment should be studied properly,” Lalu Prasad told reporters here.
The RJD leader appealed to people to maintain harmony and brotherhood and said that any party not happy with the verdict can knock the doors of the Supreme Court.
The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court Thursday ruled in favour of a temple.
Bihar goes to the polls next month to elect a new 243-member assembly.
