New Delhi : Department of Posts Wednesday said it has made special arrangements in 34 post offices across Delhi for handling rakhi mails from Aug 1 to Aug 13 including setting up of special rakhi counters.
“Special posting counters have been set up in 34 important post offices of Delhi and Delhi railway station and New Delhi railway station during this period,” the department said in a statement.
Post offices with special arrangements are distributed across the city including prominent places such as Ashok Vihar, Civil Lines, Chanakyapuri, Hauz Khas, Karol Bagh, Lajpat Nagar, Patel Nagar, Seelampur, Rohini and Sriniwas Puri.
Rakhi festival falls on Aug 13 this year.
