New Delhi: Anti-corruption activist Shehla Masood was shot dead a few hours ago in Bhopal. According to TV news reports, Masood, an active member of India Against Corruption campaign led by Anna Hazare, was shot dead by unknown persons outside her house today morning.
A senior journalist from Bhopal has confirmed the murder of Masood. However, the reason of the murder is still unknown.
In her mid thirties, Shehla Masood was a well known RTI and Wildlife activist and had busted many rackets in recent past, which made many enemies to her life. Activists have expressed their anger over the incident and demanded a thorough enquiry into the murder case.
