Both sides should soften positions: Agnivesh

New Delhi : Social activist Swami Agnivesh said Wednesday that both the government and Team Anna should “soften their positions” on the demand for a strong anti-graft law.

“I feel both the sides should show accomodation and soften their positions in view of Anna’s failing health,” Agnivesh, a prominent member of Team Anna, told IANS here.

“Doctors should be allowed to put a drip on Anna,” as the 74-year-old activist has been fasting for the past nine days and his health is failing, Agnivesh added.

“The government should also hold further negotiations and expedite the efforts to arrive at a reconciliation,” he said.
