New Delhi : The third round of talks between the government and civil society activists on the Lokpal bill will be held at 8.15 p.m. Wednesday, Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal said.
“We are going for the crucial talks with (Finance Minister) Pranab Mukherjee,” who is the chief negotiator from the government side, Kejriwal said at the Ramlila Maidan, where social activist Anna Hazare continued his fast for the ninth day to press for a strong Lokpal bill.
The first round of talks was held Tuesday night and the second round Wednesday noon.
Besides Kejriwal, the civil society is being represented at the talks by senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan and former police officer Kiran Bedi.
