Jaipur: To express solidarity with people of Egypt in their successful effort for getting freedom from 30-year of anarchy and dictatorship, Rajasthan unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) organized a program at Ram Niwas Bagh in Jaipur on 13 Feb.
Besides members and office bearers of JIH, various representatives from civil society attended the program wherein they congratulated people of Egypt for their victory. Addressing the gathering president JIH state unit Mohammad Saleem said: “The ouster of Hosni Mubarak is people’s victory. So, America and its allies must understand that the people worldwide stood up against their dictatorship. The movement cannot be stopped anymore.”
In his speech Sawai Singh said: “Wherever tyranny prevails, wealth becomes the tool for some people while majority of them remain deprived of basic needs. But it does not last forever and a time comes when people stand against it. The same happened in Egypt.”
Father Vijay Pal Singh of Masihi Shakti Samiti, T.C. Rahul of Buddha Mahasabha, Qari Moenuddin of Rajasthan Muslim Forum and Md. Naemuddin of Muslim Youth Forum also addressed the gathering.
