Patna: They went there to make money to provide better facilities of life to their families but returned home with no money in their pockets and frustration prevailing on their faces. Some of them could not find anything to eat for 3-4 days before arriving here. This was the almost common case of 680 Indians including 30 natives of Bihar who arrived from Libya by two special Air India relief flights on Sunday.
To provide relief to the grieved natives of Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed the resident commissioner and state officials in Delhi to receive them at the airport and make all arrangement for their journey to Patna through flight.
Besides, after reaching Patna the State Government also made arrangement for their travel to their homes. These 30 Bihari people were from different districts of the state including Siwan, Gopalganj, Saran, Samastipur, Saharsa, Bhagalpur, Nawada and Muzaffarpur.
Talking to reporters here in Patna these people narrated their horrible stories that they experienced during the violent revolution in Libya.
Anwer Ansari from Siwan district who was working with a company in Libya for last 9 months said: “I faced lots of trouble there due to unrest situation. I did not find food for 3 days there. My mobile did not have balance. I was losing hope of life.”
Mohammad Arman, a native of Gopalganj, has been working there for last 2 years. He also said that despite having money in bank I was empty handed as all banks and ATMs were closed. He complained about misbehavior of people. “Even before unrest situation I faced problems by local people several times. They snatched my mobiles and money and Police also took their sides when I complained.
Almost similar story was narrated by Mohammad Maqbool of Siwan, Abdur Rahman of Nawada, Perdeep Kumar of Bhagalpur and Krishn Nanden of Gopalganj.
After this bad experience, they expressed their determination not to go abroad again for jobs instead would work here in the country.
