Aligarh: Dr. S. Moied Ahmed, an Associate Professor, department of Anaesthesiology, J. N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been awarded fellowship by the American College of Chest Physician (ACCP).

He has been selected for the fellowship in recognition of his clinical experience, research and contribution in the field of Critical Care and Respiratory Care Medicine. He has been authorized to use the designation “FCCP” (Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians), which is widely recognized as a mark of professional distinction. As a fellow, he has the right to vote in college elections.
He will be awarded the ACCP fellowship at the forthcoming convocation ceremony to be held during the seventy-seventh Annual International Scientific Assembly on October 22-27, 2011 at Honolulu, Hawaii.
Earlier, Dr. Moied has also been awarded with the International Fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine by the faculty of Medicine, Leeds Teaching Hospital, University of Leeds, UK.
